Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

No, but Dr. Yun accepts all patients regardless of insurance. She does not contract with health plans because their rules and regulations can interfere with her ability to provide the care you deserve.

Can I use my insurance for medications, imaging, labs, or specialist visits?

Absolutely.

Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for the membership fee?

Yes. The membership fee may be reimbursed by flexible spending accounts (FSAs), medical savings accounts (MSAs), health reimbursement accounts (HRAs), and health savings accounts (HSAs). If requested, Dr. Yun will provide you with a statement of services to present to your administrator as reimbursement may be sought through the FSA claim submission process. Please note that the fee cannot be paid using a FSA debit card or credit card.

Will Dr. Yun treat my children?

Yes (age 2 and up).

What if I need help after hours?

For emergencies, call 911 or go to ER. For urgent needs, go to urgent care. For non-urgent issues, contact Dr. Yun for same-day virtual or in-person appointments.

Will Dr. Yun prescribe narcotics, or drugs for ADHD, or other controlled substances?

No.

I’m Dr. Yun’s patient from her previous clinic. Can I get refills to get by until I can find a new doctor who takes my insurance?

Dr. Yun is happy to help you with refills via her appointment link.

Can I still be Dr. Yun’s patient if I live outside of Austin (but still in Texas)?

Yes. Dr. Yun will always be happy to see you.

Must I be Korean to be Dr. Yun’s patient?

No. You don’t have to be Korean, but you should love and support Korean culture.❤️
